Dierenuitvaartzorg Nederland was looking for new ideas for their farewell furniture, a table on which the deceased pet can be viewed before the cremetation. The HKU arranged for their design students to design different concepts for this furniture piece. 

i worked together with two spatial design students who focussed on re-designing the funeral room. And worked with one other product design student on the furniture piece. One of the things that we made a priority was accesibility. The piece needed to work for abled bodied people as well as disabled people. That why we choose for a piece that can be adjusted in height, and an oval shape so you can be close to your pet while saying your goodbyes.
